Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 firmware appears on U.S. test servers, signaling imminent launch

👀 Leaks & Rumors

Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 firmware hitting U.S. test servers means Snapdragon Wear Elite is closer than you think. If Samsung actually lets the hardware breathe this time instead of chasing Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra-style bulk, Garmin‘s multi-day moat gets its first credible Android threat.

Marty’s Take:

Everyone’s calling Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 a Garmin killer — nobody’s asking whether WearOS can actually match Garmin Forerunner 965-level endurance. Snapdragon Wear Elite improves efficiency, but Samsung’s multi-day gap isn’t a chip problem, it’s a software optimization problem. Until Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 ships with verified battery benchmarks, our fitness tracker comparison guides still favor Garmin for serious endurance athletes.
