Plaud One’s 4G-tethered earbuds solve a real friction point, but they’re a solution to a phone-syncing problem most fitness buyers don’t have. Every serious activity tracker already does on-device recording with phone-free sync at home. The real question is whether Plaud’s transcription accuracy during a workout beats what’s already in the best fitness trackers on the market.
